Hello, I need to download Flexnet admin to manage my Creo Schematics licenses where can I download the latest version for Windows server 2022
Hi When I do double logarithmic plotting (and maybe also single) the trace sometimes disappears when a scale the axis. Very frustrating!!Thomas
Hello, sorry, I have to ask some beginner questions:1. I want to use the f'(x) notation but it seems that this is not possible. Mathcad is unhappy "variable not defined" about the f'. The function f(x) as such is defined. Is there a trick? 2. I want do document some functions without defining variables. For example "slope = (f(b)-f(a))/(b-a)". Once more Mathcad wants to force me to define b and a. But that doesn't make sense in my case since I just want to document the concept and not do an actual calculation. I use a text box with a inside calculation box to get the mathematical notifications. I feel deeply sorry that I have to bother you with probably very simple questions. 🙂 Kind Regards
I cannot figure out a way to solve equations in Mathcad 9.0.0.0. I have tried going through multiple tutorials text and video for hours and unfortunately cannot for the life of me figure out how to type it into mathcad. Any help would be appreciated.
I am using Creo Parametric 6.0.6.0 Student. I have set up the config.pro file with all my preferences which includes metric units. When I open a model the units are Imperial but all my other preferences are correct. It's a bind having to remember to change it for every new part.Is there a fix?
I installed creo 10 some days ago and did some designs in that. later again I moved to creo 9, but after installing that I can't able to open the designs that I did in creo 10. Ps : I am using student version. please comment for any solutions ! When I open only I can see blank screen as shown in picture I attached.
Is there a way to set the Mathcad language? I'm German and have a German Windows system and would like to use Mathcad in English with English spelling checks. Is that possible?
Hi, We need to convert a large number of old .mi drawings created with Creo Elements/Drafting 18.1.I done some research i i found 3 ways to do that. 1) Use PTC Creo, open the files and do "save as" and select .dwg in file format.2) Install Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 8.0 and use dxfdwg.exe that is a tool to convert different file type.3) Reinstall Creo Elements/Drafting 18.1, open the files and do "save as" and select .dwg in file format. Of this 3 method there is one that is better in terms of quality(precision, quotas, errors, missing elements, etc) of the converted file ?If there are other ways to do that please le me know. Thanks for the support. Best Regards Giacomo Ceresola
Did you manage to get this working?Reference link We are running into the same issue, with the added complexity that they've removed this functionality completely from Creo 10. So using a key to allow deprecated config option only temporarily solves the issue.
What do you think the curve should be f(x). See please this too https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Euler-spiral/m-p/912205#
Is it possible to scale an imported part?
Hello,I would like to ask how to properly work in Creo parametrics 7.0.8.0 connected with PDMlink Windchill 12.0.2.12 .We work like that main assembly is composed from subassemblies. Subassemblies are composed only from manufactured parts, purchased "parts and assemblies". Purchased "assemblies" (let's say pneumatic cylinders) we use only because of mechanism. We have library of pneumatic cylinders in PDMlink Windchill. The moving part of pneumatic cylinder is set as slider with enabled regeneration value. When we use pneumatic cylinder in subassembly we set it as flexible with selection of the dimension. In PDMlink Windchill the state of the cylinder is set to released. To prevent users to change it.When subassembly is checked in, there is a possibility to Drag pneumatic cylinder with connected parts. When the move is performed we get yellow triangle with following messages. "Not checked out by you" and "Modified in session". If I regenerate that subassembly, it changes to o
Maybe someone knows how to make engraving on cylindrical surface in assembly mode in Creo Parametric? This article (CS25807) describes how to make engraving in a part.I can't find information how to do this in assembly mode.In our production, quite often there is a situation when it is necessary to do engraving at the assembly stage. At the moment we do this using the Projection tool.
I am using 20.6 Creo Elements direct, When I am in annotation I can not change from INCH to metric as my default, I've tried changing the units, but they say they are already in MM, I also tried dimension properties but it will revert back to Inch after the selection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Greetings (New Creo User Here), I am creating a simple U-shaped structure (see pic below) pinned at the large holes you see on the vertical channels (blue, one not shown to the left is a mirror image), connected to a front/back mirrored pair of horizontal channels (yellow) by 4 bolts at each end of the yellow beam. A mass is applied to the plate (red) resting on top of the yellow beams. This gives a total of two vertical channels, two horizontal channels, the plate, and 16 bolts (all identical).Colorized Components (1/2 of Structure) I am using very stiff bolts with a much softer structural material (e.g., steel bolts with sheet aluminum), and am not worried about the bolts failing in tension. They really operate more like pins in this scenario (light or no preload), rather than the idealized "fastener" found in Analysis-->Refine Model-->Connections.I've done what was suggested by other authors for older versions in creating idealized point-to-point b
Hi everyone, normally in the skeleton model solid geometry is not used.Is this still the case with the advent of multi-body?Have any of you tried using solid geometry in the skeleton model?Do you think there are any advantages? Floryn
Is there any way I can prevent mathcad from multiplying both numerator and denominator here? This isn't a simplification I'm looking for, it messes up my further calculations.
Hi, I'm trying to get a set of data in a form where I can copy and paste it into a another application. It is two columns of data. The first is a range variable. The second is a calculation on the range variable.I've tried to get the two columns of data into an embedded Excel Component but just can't see how to do it. Getting confused between ranges versus vectors/matrices.Is there a way of converting the range variable into a vector?Any help would be much appreciated. I thought if you can see the indices, it is a vector/matrix? Dave
When unsung Merge/Inheritance to merge a part file (raw material file) into another file (machined part file) I am getting failures with the scaling of the parts. This only happens when the files are made using different units of measurement i.e. the part file being merged is mm and the part file that is being worked on is inches. What seems to be happening is a part made in metric being merged into an inch file has a scale that is 25.4 times the intended size because Creo isn't making the unit conversion and instead bring in the mm units unscaled into the inch file and vice-versa. This issue can somewhat go away when toggling between Merge/Inheritance but that will bring in the design tree which isn't ideal. We cant make them the same units of measure since the prints need to be in there respective units for documentation/customer reasons. Edit: using Creo 9Edit 2: When changing the units in either model to match the part end up working fine, so t
In Creo Parametric, is there a way to search/filter the model tree for a list of part numbers at once instead of searching for part numbers one at a time? In Creo View there is a "Multiple Search Values" option where you can search for a list of part numbers at once. In Windchill there is "OR" Boolean logic that uses a semicolon ";" to allow the search of multiple part numbers.

Using the evaluate Expression tool while editing the repeat region relations can you put multiple lines on a single line using something like a new line or next line character? E.g. If x=="1" `n y=="2" `n ENDIF Although this may be useful in the actual code I think it would be most helpful in the Evaluate Expressions dialog to better troubleshoot and develop relation code: Creo Parametric 7.0.11.0 drawing environment.
Hello all. I am not new to Mathcad but am new to matrices and evaluations. What i am trying to figure out is how to tell Mathcad Prime 9.0 to automatically select incrementing rows from a previous matrix for use in an formula. Please see the attached screenshot from a manual. I can define the E matrix without issue, but am lost after that. I have tried setting n = 0 and ORIGIN = 0, but that doesnt do what I need.
