Derivating massive item between 2 trackers

To create lower level justification we would like to

  1. filter item in the upper level tracker
  2. select and send those item to a lower level tracker
  3. Add a reference link between lower and upper item

the 2 trackers being already configured with a reference link

I manage to complete step one and to with the copy to function, but did not find a way to make the reference link, there is only an association link proposed

Yes, the copy to function only creates an association.

We encounter the same issue.

You have to create a field in the lower-level configuration template and link it to the tracker in the higher-level template at the project level. Unfortunately, the value is not set automatically, so you must set it manually.

Then you will have the reference field set.
 

The only alternative is to save a project as a project template, export it, and import it for each new project. This preserves the relations.
