Word Export - replacing username with real Name and Surname

Hello!

 

I have a question regarding exporting information from the .supervisors type field.

When using a template, I'm using this field syntax: <<item.supervisors»

 

Of course it’s working, but it’s exporting the username (like X3Z5S3) instead of real name (like John Smith) as it is in codebeamer item view.

Is there any way to convert the way how the template handle this situation?

Hi ​@PiotrW 

You will need to use dot notation to grab additional fields on the user object.

For example: concat(supervisors[0].firstName, " ", supervisors[0].lastName) so it will probably be something like <<item.supervisors[0].fistName>> <<item.supervisors[0].lastName>> if there could be more that one supervisor, you will want to use a loop like you are with item but targeting the item.supervisors array.
