I am using Creo Parametric 11.0.6.0. In AutoCAD, there is a feature called compare with which we could compare the drawings and find out the changes that are made.  In the above image, the holes are changed from Dia 10 to Dia 8. On using the compare tool, the affected regions highlighted with cloud like marking. Is there an equivalent feature in Creo that does the same function as above?

Python which got installed during API installation is 3.10 and having vulnerabilities.We need to upgrade Python, will it support? if not then can we just upgrade API.Whole Kepware Application version upgrade supposed to be last option for us.

Hey everyone, I just signed up for the Student License, but unfortunately, the license file came without any information on how to proceed with it. I saved the file under Programme Data /PTC/Licensing, and added the license path in the setup wizard. But when I open Creo, only the free test version gets opened (which does not work either, because the embedded browser couldn't be initialized). I tried to use the product key of an old Creo version (4), but this does not work for Creo 12. Could anyone help out with the product key for the student license of Creo 12?Thank you very much!Best regards, Julian  

We are using Creo View 10.1.0.0.  I am trying to learn how the two compare tools work (geometry and view state).  I cannot determine how Creo view decides where to place the Compare Report [annotation set].  Sometimes it puts it in the first picked iteration, sometimes it puts it in the second picked iteration.  I saw a video where someone actually had the iterations shown in the primary panel, next to the part file name.  Unfortunately, ours does not show this info.  Is there a way to show it? I was thinking if I knew which was which, I might be able to determine where the report gets saved.

I am creating hole table from points and customized the table according to requirements i,e added some rows but after putting table on drawing when it is need to update by clicking "UPDATE TABLES" it failing all added rows are failed not showing properly .Kindly help to resolve this issue or how can we customized the hole table according to our requirements.Please see attached snaps for reference.

Hiwe are currently looking for an alternative approach to modernize email delivery from WC 13.0.2 using Microsoft 365.At the moment in our environment Windchill use the Basic Authentication for SMTP, which is expected to be deprecated by April 2026 (unless postponed, again).How PTC suggest to handle this transition (OAuth2? Hello, I've been facing an issue for quite a long time. I have a GE VersaMax CPUE05 PLC connected to my PC by Ethernet. I configured it in KEPServerEX 6, the driver I used is GE Ethernet and it works great just like that. But the problem comes when i connect to the server in factory i/o.There is a big latency of about 2/3 seconds when it comes to tags update. I read the threads here about latency but none of them helped me. Scan mode and maximum bytes per request don't change the delay, it is still there. I have about 160 variables most of them which are boolean. The only thing i noticed is low amount of good reads (at least i think so) compared to writes. You can see the good reads after the first 10 seconds of simulation on the screen.The problem I also noticed is even if there were 3 variables in the project there was still a tiny lag when it comes to the variable update. Could this be the VersaMax Ethernet port? It is only 10Mb/s.  

Hello, I'm wondering, is there a possibility to import structure of sprints i.e. from Excel to the release type tracker?There is no such an option in expandable menu like in other trackers.

Version: Windchill 11.0 Use Case: Hi all, I am using the Windchill FMEA to configure the Severity, Occurence and Detection of each failure mode.Description: However, when I entered the value of 1 in Severity/Occurence/Detection, the RPN immediately runs to 0.When there is a new number, the system prompts to add in the "ADD LIST ITEM" for instance the list "Severity Military", "Occurence Military" and "Detection Military".Prompting for Code, Display Text and Value.Is there a menu of function which I can reconfigure the Code of 1? It seems that the value of it is not properly registered.I appreciate if anyone can assist in this. Thank you.

Hello Kepware CommunityI am currently tinkering with the KepServerEX capabilities and have come across some unusual behavior. My task is to connect the Kepware to an MQTT server, retrieve the payload, and parse it into SQL. Everything goes smoothly if I use Kepware's default logging, which has 4 fields: numeric_id, quality, time_stamp, and value.It is ok when use a Narrow table format setting, which I set it as follows.And it return this sql tableNow I have a custom table that need to be fillAnd my column(s) set up, they have the same column registerThe logger is up and running, no error log but it does not log anything to the table.Which setting that I need to change ? I have set up a simulator tag that receives its value from the link advance tag. The input of the link advance tag is the value from the ADAM READ-only Register address, and the output of the link advance tag is the simulator tag value. I have configured the link tag as the on interval mode, so that after every 100ms, link tag writes whatever the value is at the register address to the simulator tag. but the question is, even if the value is same after 100ms, is the update counter on the OPC client side should update its value or not ..?

I have a Prosoft PLX51-DF1-ENI card connected to a PLC5 via  a DF1 serial cable. I need to get a Factorytalk SCADA and Kepware to communicate to the PLC. Kepware is required to allow comms to an old historian. When Kepware is disabled the Factroytalk SCADA can communicate to the PLC OK. But once Kepware is enabled the Factorytalk comms start to fail.. In Kepware I am using the Allen Bradley Ethernet Driver and the tags show good values. I have the tag scan rates set to 1000ms. It seems like to Kepware connection is overloading the DF1 comms. Is there anything I can try to get this to work

I am developing an application using OPC DA, but my client wants us to upgrade to OPC UA. The problem is that when the HMI reads the tag structure, it is different. With OPC DA my structure uses dots (.) to separate the path, and in OPC UA it uses backslashes (\) to separate the path. This has never happened to me before. Could you help me?

Version: Windchill 12.0 My company has newly adopted Windchill as a PLM but has been using it for file storage/vaulting & has been using Creo since the proE days. We are moving towards incorporating the options modeler module & need to include material options with our corresponding part numbers in doing so. The current method we have been instructed to use is using a family table for materials & part numbers. This means that existing family tables are getting broken up for BOM purposes, despite being related parts. I would rather maintain links between structurally related parts & think there has to be a method we're not aware of (Windchill is new & the 1st PLM for everyone at the company, so we're all beginners). Is there a way to have materials & corresponding part numbers linked in base package Windchill+Creo without family tables? My supervisor does not want to use nested family tables. Hello,I'm trying to make an "If" statement on Mathcad 15 that is able to pull a value for Alpha based on the Exposure Category assigned (B, C or D). I did this on Mathcad Prime (see snip) but having problems replicating it on Mathcad 15. I defined exposure earlier as " E = "B", but when i try to type the if statement it says "Cannot understand this syntax". Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
