I am solving a system of 1D steady ODEs in Mathcad using RK4. The system works correctly until I add a heat transfer term representing two-way coupling between a gas phase and injected droplets. When this term is included, the solver no longer outputs results and reports that the gradient matrix must be scalar or a matrix.The gas stagnation temperature gradient depends on Reynolds number, Nusselt number and a convective heat transfer coefficient that is itself a function of the ODE variables, which vary along z (length of nozzle)All other gradients (Mach, pressure, velocity, etc.) are functions of the same state vector and work correctly when the heat term is removed. I suspect I am incorrectly defining a function within the gradient matrix or using If else wrong.Any help would be appreciated, as I'm going round in circles.below is screenshot of part of code:  Thanks very much 

GreetingsI have a rather strange question, with topic that some people might consider insignificant and unimportant, but this particular function that Im making will probably be used numerous times in a single worksheet. Hello all,recently bought a Creo Illustrate license and in the PTC Portal we arranged the Licensing Host details (added the name of the notebook and MAC address)The problem i have is that i am unable to start Creo Illustrate, it seems i need a file before i can start the software. Did some checks in Copilot and it mentions i need a license.dat file which i can retrieve from the PTC portal.I am able to find an option called "Retrieve license file" but according to Copilot these are not the correct file which i need. However i am not able to find another option to find this elusive file 🙂 (or is Copilot just sending me to a totally wrong non existent solution?)Thnx in advance

Hello, I am trying to learn Arbortext Editor, and I am trying to follow the "Get Started with Arbortext Editor" playlist. My company uses an older version (5.4), and I can't find the Arbortext XML DocBook V4.0 sample. I go to File > New and "docbook" isnt there. I can check "sample" when I highlight "free-from XML", but that file isnt the same as the one in the tutorial.  I have scoured my computer files, and I have opened every .sgm file, and I can't find it. Is there any way to get this file, or am I out of luck?

Creo Elements Direct Modeling 20.7.1.0 (English):I can't "snap to" or "catch" an intersection when dimensioning.In this case I would like to dimension from the bottom of a key slot to the top of the shaft at the 12 o'clock position. The only way i have found is to draw a very short vertical geometry line at the point where the center line intersects the diameter line. When I create this line I can snap/catch the intersection of the center line and the diameter line WHY can't I catch the same intersection when dimensioning?Thank you for your help.Tim Higdon

Hi everyone, I’m currently learning ThingWorx and trying to connect a small IoT setup, but I’m a bit confused about the correct architecture and would really appreciate some guidance. My current setup uses an ESP8266-based NodeMCU board to read data from a wireless AC current sensor. At the moment, the ESP8266 collects the sensor data and displays it on a local web server using an HTTP client. That part is working fine. Now I want to extend this project so the device can send the sensor data to **ThingWorx for monitoring and analytics**, ideally using **MQTT** since it seems to be the common approach for IoT communication. From what I understand so far, the workflow might look something like this: Sensor → ESP8266 → MQTT → ThingWorx However, I’m unsure about a few things: Do I need to install and run a **separate MQTT broker** (for example Mosquitto) between the ESP8266 and ThingWorx?Does **ThingWorx provide its own MQTT broker**, or does it only act

I'm using Creo 11 w/ Complete Machining Extension. I'm trying to learn 5-axis milling capabilities of Creo and I want to have a full tool library curated by someone else. I have downloaded the "Tooling Library" from PTC page "Legacy Creo Libraries".https://www.ptc.com/en/support/enablement/AdditionalCreolibraries Can anyone teach me or send me documentation on how to make use of the tools inside of Creo. For every .prt file of a tool there seems to be a corresponding .mnu file and there are 3 or 4 .exe. I imagine there is a way to view the .mnu files in a master menu with graphics, but I don't know. Thanks,Kevin

How do I get the folder ID? Right now I am trying to use the Windchill REST Services site where it generates the request and response for you. I assume that under the data administration domain you can get folders from a container using /Containers{'ContainerID'}'/Folders but it seems like none of the folders show up when I provide the ContainerID for an organization. Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Using the + sign on multi-valued attributes with enumeration or pick list is an awful UX design. Has anyone built a data utility or interface JSP to populate using drop down checklist or a multi-select check list (like the type manager has). Description: when selecting multiple values for an attribute, there is a + (plus) sign to add another row to pick more values.   All other interfaces in the world (including type selection in the search ) us pull-down checkboxes, or pick list    has anyone already built the customization to do this that can be easily plugged in.  (Hopefully would be universal to handle any attribute)

I have created a data utility on an attribute which opens a jsp when clicked. Now in this jsp i've created a wizard and added a wizard step. In the wizard step I have 2 table builders, so when i click on the Ok button i want to get the selected objects. But I'm unable to call a form processor on this wizard.

I'm using Creo 2.0 currently and would like to be able to assign material properties to bulk items in an assembly I have. I want this for reporting the PTC_MATERIAL_NAME parameter in my drawing BOM. In the assembly model in Creo 2.0, there's no way to right-click on a part and assign materials. For each part, I have to open them and manually set the material by going to File -> Prepare -> Model Properties, which is not an option for bulk materials because the only way to access them is through the Relations window. PTC_MATERIAL_NAME is a reserved parameter and cannot be manually added in relations. Do I need to change my BOM settings to a user defined parameter for each part in the model? Any other workaround?
