April 6 2026: Same People, New PTC Community Platform

Update:  To give a better community experience, we need to stay on read only status a little longer beyond April 6th.  We will keep you updated on our progress.

We wanted to share some big news! Around April 6, we will be moving from our current Khoros Community Platform to the Gainsight Communities platform.

Here’s what you need to know:

• We’re excited about the careful integration of AI‑powered features that Gainsight offers to help community members—when they choose to use them—create meaningful, high‑quality posts.

• The Community Team will gain new in‑platform tools that allow us to deliver a more personalized experience for all community members.

• We understand how important your community history and conversations are. Our technical migration experts are:

  • Carefully transferring all existing PTC Community content.
  • Testing the migrated content to ensure it displays correctly and as intended

To support this work, the community will be in a read‑only state from March 23 through April 6.

Our PTC Community (Customer) Champions have been involved throughout the planning. Together, we’ve identified that discussion forums are most essential to members, so these will be the first areas opened after the transition.

Other spaces—such as PTC Ideas, TKBs (e.g., the Creo Tips and Techniques board), and Groups—may take a little longer to become available.

We know a new community space always takes a little time to get used to.
