Is there a best way to convert files from Creo 3.0 to NX 9.0 files. What is the best format to do a save as on in order for our customer to be able to open and work with the files in NX. We are looking to have the most data possible to transfer over.

Robert,

Check earlier post regarding the same Re: how to export file from creo to nx ?

Data differences between versions and timing of software release dictate which methods are available.

Creo 3 is a lot newer than NX9, so you are limited if you want to do a direct import of the file.

Your best bet for taking a solid model or assembly to NX is to export it as a STEP file.

Is this a one-off conversion or a long-term need to continually do the conversion?

Also, you cannot transfer associative drawings between any CAD systems. You can only transfer the drawing image with a DXF file.
