Extracting dimensions

Well, the only complete way would be a JLink (Java) program, which extracts all model dimensions and uses e.g. POI to create or modify an Excel file. This is what we use. However, if You need all dimension properties (e.g. whether it's an inspection dimension), the full Toolkit is needed.

If You can live with intermediate steps, Weblink can do the task as well by creating a HTML page with the list of dimensions, which then can be imported or at least copied and pasted into Excel.

Info/Model reports all the dimensions as well as layer associations and other useful information.

Automated?

If you want a program that can do this automated and across any file, then you need to write a script either jlink, weblink, vba, toolkit..

The original request said nothing about being automated.

Still, it's a trivial item to extract from the .inf file in comparison to other methods.

Have you herd of Inspection Expert for Creo? it's a little buggy but is does work.
