Question

About unit in x and y axis of 3D plot in Prime 2.0

Does prime 2.0 not allow unit in the variable for x and y axis??

suppose I have

f(x,y) := x*y/10 m^2 + 100 m^2

and the unit in x and y are both meter^2

then I cannot plot f(x,y) in 3d plot? Nor can I use it in creatmeash? not even with the matrix builtin function because it only take unitless value for the range ???? What good is 2.0 then...

I just hate the process of dividing all my variables by their units ........

If I plot the function you show in Prime 2.0 it plots fine, with units. Please post a worksheet showing the problem.

Attached is the worksheet...I do not like how the 3D graph on the lower left does not work...check the last two page

I have to manually convert the function into one with unitless independent variable. I wish I can skip this converting step.

BTW I cannot plot the function I showed earlier in 3Dplot either.. I cannot attach any unit to the independent variable...

I use in this case not a Surface plot but a set of curves on x-y Plot.
