Question

Convert Mathcad V14 to V12

I have searched on here but did not find anything on this. Does anyone know of a converter to get all my Mathcad files from V14 to V12? Or anyway to see all my V14 Mathcad files without upgrading?

V14 will save in V12 format (simply choose File/Save As and save as type).

Hi

<File> <Save as> gives options to down rev the mathcad worksheeet.

(On V15 I can save as far back as V11)

BUT it will give warnings that some data may be lost - depending on how much "new" functionality you are using from the later version.

So far I haven't had any issues when downgrading to export data to colleagues

Regards

Andy

Sorry, I should have clarified my question. I no longer have V14 only V12. I need to open all my V14 files up in V12.

Then, unfortunately, you need a trustworthy, gererous soul with access to version 14 or 15.

How many files?

Several hundred. Too many to have someone sit and do a "save as" on. OK, that's what I thought, I will find someone here that has access to that version.

Thanks for your help!!!!

A better option would be to upgrade. Version 12 was a very poor version of Mathcad. Also, some of your worksheets developed in 14 may not work correctly in 12, and would have to be modified. Unless you and the person that will do all the file conversions are paid less per hour than the guy down the road flipping burgers at McDonalds, the cost of an upgrade would be less than the cost of your time.
