Excel Component without Excel file

Hi!

After a long search I am still not able to determine if this is possible in Mathcad:

I would like to create a component, which does NOT require an actual Excel file after creation. The only purpose of

this is, to have a better overview of the input data.

Thanks!

When you insert an EXCEL component the first choice is:

create a new EXCEL sheet, or

create from a file.

The first choice embeds an EXCEL sheet in the Mathcad sheet; no external file is created. Isn't that what you want?

edit: argh, although I don't have any additional excel file anymore I cannot change the

path of my Mathcad file without losing the component!

any Ideas?

Can you upload the worksheet? The embedded Excel file shouldn't be lost, it should be saved with the Mathcad worksheet.
