This program looks at the geostrophic wind, that is, the upper level winds in the earth's atmosphere whose direction parallels the pressure contours. We consider a very simple case to fix the essential ideas.

How would it work if you would make the system unitless ?

To find the effects of different latitudes we make the following plot.

With a unitless system, you could then wrap your last graph around

a phere representing earth .
