I have received a home use license from my employer and PTC has submitte dto me license files for installation. My computer at home uses a USB wireess dongle, and I did not use the MAC address of this unit, instead I used the physical address given in the IPconfig command. I am not able to register my MathCAD 15 with the license file for some reason, and I have tried many times through license server and uninstall/reinstall. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Thank you to anyone who might have an dea or two,

Ross

I suggest you contact technical support at http://www.ptc.com/support/mathcad. Mathcad 15 includes a year of maintenance and technical support. If you don't know your customer or sales number, ask your company.

You want the info that is held in

links to the following 3 TPIs:

https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=/103538.htm

https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=/22010.htm

These cover the mechanisms by which Windows can screw up the reported MAC addresses. The Home use licence only checks the first one that Windows provides. The support files tell you have to tweak the requistries (it is pretty simple.)

They may have more notes now.
