Plot trajectory of a function?

Hello

I've plotted the function in a mathcad x-y plot:

1/12*(16x-9x^3)

And I'm trying to plot the trajectory aiming at the fixpoint when iterating it.

So that I get something like picture I attached. I know it's not the same function, but just for the purpose of explaination.

Thanks in advance

Would you be able to provide a worksheet?

Hey Mike and thanks for the quick reply!

I can attach my own testworksheet, but right now it only has a function and then an x-y plot of the function.

I'm trying to show how the iteration of the function konverges to a fixpoint which is 2/3 in my example.

An example of it is shown here:

On page 4 at the bottom.

But sadly I cannot see how they plotted such a function.
