Time Series Slopes V1 & V2 - Question

Dear All,

I am trying to workout the TIME series for BOTH slopes enclosed

The question will be for 2 slopes (simple example enclosed see attachment)

where Y = M*x + B

The question & answer should apply for any positive value of M symbolically.

Before I provide the simple example of the 2 slopes Y = M*x + B

I would like to explain what I am trying to achieve by using 2 slopes

Y = M*x ( without B ) ... it is the B that is causing me the problem...

However that doesn't really help me with the answer to my specific question as explained in the Mathcad attachment...

Actually I think the question is probably quite simple, but I have been struggling with it for few days...

Any help or advice on the specific question would grately appreciated.
