Hi everybody, my first time to install Creo. The lisence is OK but then: Subfunctions such as Parametric unsuccessful installed because of Creo 7 Platform services unsuccessful installed. What should I do?

I recently installed the creo student version and when I started using it after just drawing 1/2 curves and making a basic solid the programs goes into not responding mode. it resumes after a min or two and then again goes in to not responding once I click just 1 feature to edit.   My system deets are -  Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHzInstalled RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor   Windows specifications Edition Windows 10 Home Single LanguageVersion 20H2Installed on ‎11-‎04-‎2021OS build 19042.928Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

Hello,My academic account has been approved for access to Creo Parametric by going through the process outlined at:https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/academic-products/free-software/creo-college-download/ .However, this change has not been reflected in my account, and I receive a licensing error when attempting to activate Creo Parametric. I have attempted to reach customer support in several different ways, to no avail. Who can I contact to have this rectified?Thanks!

I input the student university license code, it says there is a maximum registered amount of licenses, is there a way to fix this error or remove other registered things?

Hi, I have installed creo 5.0 Student Version according to the description on an Windows 7 Lenovo W540 (and optionally also on a Windows10 Gaming PC) and finished the installation successful. (both with and without Firewall) When I try to start, the program don't start at all. No message, no window, nothing. What can be the reason for this issue?

Hi, the problem is as the title states. I saw another post explaining the same problem but with Creo 3.0. I'm trying to download Creo 4.0 but it's giving me an invalid file or format when trying to install license. Tried opening the file but was empty. How do I solve this? Thanks

Hello, I am trying to install creo 7.0 for students. After installing i tried to open creo parametric but recieved this error: There is not a lot of information about what is wrong with the license.   I used this link for download: https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/academic-products/free-software/creo-college-download/thank-you Here I could open a .pdf and found this license code: BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI Then i used this in the installer and it created a license (name : BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI_license.dat) This file is uploaded with the post.   Since this didn't work I also tried to use a license that was send to me by email. (name sw_license_email_4990554.dat)   Both don't work. Then i have also tried to recieve a license via k12 students with similar results. In the installer the codes are available but they don't work for creo parametric.   Can somebody please help?      

Hi,   Thanks for your support in education. I am a PhD student in mechanical engineering and I usually use Creo to design my experiment system. However, I recently can not access the Creo 6.0 and 7.0 by the license for student edition. It shows error when I paste the license code into the Simple License Entry. Would you please kindly let me know if anything I should do to access the Creo? Thanks a lot for your help.   Best Regard, I-Te

Creo 7.0.2.0 is not starting after installation

I installed the student version of Creo 4.0 on my laptop and it runs fine as long as I have an internet connection, but if get this warning when I don't have an internet connection. I have limited access to the internet, so I would like to run it offline. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi, i can't seem to change the language in Creo Parametric 7.0 from english to german.   I've already tried adding the "ENV=PRO_LANG=german" line in the parametric.psf even with german language selected during installation.I've also changed the system language with a clean install but without any results.

In attempting to initiate installation on my PC, when I choose the following:Creo 7.0Win 64 DVD (4.899 GB) HTTPSI get a small window asking me whether I want to "Open the File or "Save the File". Nothing tells me whether anything is being downloaded and It keeps on saving an empty zip file to my download directory. (I'm also never asked into which folder I want to download the file to either)...So I can never do an "extract all" procedure.

Hello, I am currently installing the PTC Creo 7.0 - Student Edition. I'm following the Quick installation guide. I am entering the simple licence code "BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI" as indicated and click "Install license". Now I am asked to enter my username and password. At this point the installation program always gives me the error "Authentification failed". The username and password are entered correctly! Can anyone help me at this point? Cheers

Hello,    So I am not new to PTC Creo software, however, I just recently downloaded the 7.0 version of Creo (Parametric, Simulate, etc.). Had some issues with the Student Edition licensing in the beginning when downloading and installing, but I finally just resolved all those issues. The university I attend has an earlier version of Creo (I think 3.0 or 4.0) but I can't go to campus for obvious reasons. We do have remote desktops but experience A LOT of issues using it.    Assuming that I did everything correct, can anyone tell me what exactly comes with the Student Edition? I successfully made parts, but I cannot run them through Simulate. Does the Student Version not come with it?    Thanks for the help in advance,   J

My Creo 4.0 license has expired. When trying to renew the license error "Hardware id not valid is given".  

Hello everyone   For my thesis I have to develop an augmented reality exercise of a punching machine. One of my tasks is to make an animation in CREO illustrate. My problem is that I do not know how to make the springs flexible in illustrate. In my assembly (CREO parametric) it was possible to do it. I want to shrink the springs from 70 mm to 50 mm, one side of the spring can move, the otherside of the spring is fixed.    Thanks in advance.  Kind regards Jelle    

Hi!I have downloaded the PTC creo for the student but at that time I forgot to save the pdf file of the quick installation guide. I guess in that pdf file there is a license key. Now I am not able to install the PTC creo as it will require a license key. I needed to install the PTC creo urgently. Can you please help?Thanks,Nusrat

Hi,When downloading Creo 4.0 and booting up Creo Parametric, I could not use it as message popped up stating "License request failed for feature". This seems to be a recurring issue, butnot in Creo 4.0. Thanks for the help anyways. (By the way, this is the student edition).

When I installing the PTC app the PTC parametric will install with warning that JRE will over the date. After I install the PTC app when I open the PTC parametric in the desktop it shows that the license request failure for feature and there is a ok button after I press the ok button there is another error comes that AFX fails to load after I press the ok button again there is an one more error that IFX failed to load and after I press the ok button the whole software getting closed please resolve my issue as early as possible. @MartinHanak
