I have managed to load Creo 3 schools stand alone version but it runs too slow. The graphics card does not seem to have an easy answer for this problem?
Hello,we are a group of students from Germany who need Help. Since 2 weeks we are not able to start creo parametric 3.0 M110 in Windows 10. The Start-Window of creo appears, we click on "Open" or "New" and then creo freezes and some secends after that a Windows Blue Screen appears with the code: Unexpected_Kernel_endI have already tried:-reinstalling creo-disabling all antivirus and firewall software-performing windows update -added all to exceptions in antivirus Thank You for Your Help.
Hello everyone,For some reason when I go to enter the license code it always fails. I even tried using the relicense instructions and it still fails. When I went to open Creo it gave me an error which I have taken a snapshot of and attached. This is the current code that I am using- BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL. Thank you for your help.Regards,Tyler
We call ourselves the Zheshart English Lego Academy. We are frozen in Zheshart, Republic of Komi, Russia, or it seemed that way this winter. We use Lego to teach English. We make a big distinction between preschool and 5th Grade. The 5th Grade is a cutoff point. It also coincides with a change in public school teaching methods. Up to 5th grade students have one teacher for everything; afterwards they rotate from classroom to classroom to different teachers.Finding #1 - Use Lego Duplo for K-4/5. Using regular Lego blocks is simply too time consuming. We have three levels of Lego English.Lego English Levels – Preschool to 5th Grade Lego Duplo English is designed for preschoolers to 5th Graders. Upper level students can continue with video story telling if interested. 5th Graders are encouraged to go into Lego Robotics or into Lego Architecture. These two Lego branches are much more time consuming and require much different
wildfire 5.0, M040, student edition, recently started having a slow erase of a highlighted feature. The feature would highlight when the cursor moved across and no other work could be done until the highlighted lines were slowly erased from bottom of screen to top. This makes the product somewhat unusable due to the slow response. I'm running windows 10 and this seemed to start after a win 10 update. I found an earlier report of this or a similar problem that was fixed but I can't find the solution. Any help?

Is there project Arduino YUN like UNO?

The Windows 10 Upgrade wiped out my PTC Creo Academic, and the 5th Grade prodigy who was studying with me asked for a summer vacation. I also ran into a Lego dilemma - which direction - architecture or robotics. Should I use PTC Creo for robotics and Autodesk Revit 2017 for architecture? These are difficult learning curves for me, let alone for a 5th grader. For this summer we stick with Lego Duplo. I'll wait for PTC Creo 4.0 Academic. As for Summer 2017 no robotics, no architecture and no 3D Printing. We need more powerful computers and 55" monitors with HD first.Cheers, Tom
In a couple of weeks I have not been able to start up and run my wf3 more than one time! Some times there is a Script Error pop-up on URL: http://www.ptc.com/cgi/community/wildfire3/check_remote_wf3.csh.Most of the times there is no Script Error pop-up and the internal browser ends up att http://www.ptc.com/community/landing/wf3.htm, but as soon as I try to do anything the Not Responding message turns up and some times the proE windows grays up.The one time I managed to get the program running, the browser ended up on http://download.ptc.com/support-planned.htmThe page explained that ptc was in the process of updating the infrastructure and apologized for any temporary problem this would cause.I thought the problem was related to the start up of the internal browser but the problem is still there even if the browser is turned off by setting the following in config.pro:enable_3dmodelspace_browser_tab noenable_partcommunity_tab noenable_recource_browser_tab noweb_browser_homepage about:bl

We've been struggling to keep Creo Academic running, but the recent Windows 10 upgrade wiped out all hope. The problem isIt used to be that I could say "Yes" and it worked. Now if I say yes or no the computer shuts down and restarts. We are considering a summer shutdown with Creo and redirecting effort to PTC Mathcad. We may remove Creo Parametric Academic 3.0 altogether and reinstall 4.0 Academic when it becomes available.Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions?
I have a homework assignment (attached). I am not asking for any solutions as I am eager to learn. But I am running into an issue with my Creo 2.0 education version. When I am running simulate it pops open a "Process Guide" that I cannot close. If I am to close it, it will end the simulate. I need to close the process guide because I need to change the Mode Analysis of my part (it is failing at the neck due to too large of nodes). I am acceptable to the fact I could be doing the homework incorrectly. But, I was wondering if it is because I have the education version and not a license version.Any tips or recommendations are welcome. Thank you!
Hello, I looked up my question already but I did not see a good answer for my circumstance. Can anyone help me figure out why my "Remove Material" feature is greyed out? Thanks!
In Creo 3.0 parametric student edition, can I merge an assembly file called bearing.asm to a part file without causing the already finished final assembly to fail regeneration? Essentially, my issue is with parts that make up the bearing assembly (which was downloaded from McMaster) showing up on the auto fill Bill of Materials in the final assembly which then causes them to be part of the balloons as well. Basically I just want the BOM to have one entry for the hole bearing. Thanks.P.S. I realize that this was caused by my own mistake when bringing the parts into Creo as assemblies instead of parts. I did not realize my mistake until now, and reassembling the final project will take too much time since I have to submit by midnight tonight.
We call ourselves the Zheshart English Lego Academy. We are located in Zheshart, Republic of Komi, Russia. We have approximately 50 students, mostly Preschool to 5th Graders. Instead of teaching calculus and linear algebra I'm teaching the English alphabet to Russian students who have not yet learned the Russian alphabet. My wife is bilingual and certified to teach both English and Russian as foreign languages. We do have a few advanced students. Inna is a 5th Grader learning to model with PTC Creo Parametric Academic 3.0. She is creating a video which we will publish soon showing that she can create the part shown.Base 9 mm plate.Progress to date has been restricted to part extrude, revolve and round. We have not done much with sketch or assembly or any of the many new areas being opened by Creo 4.0 such as performance monitoring with embedded sensors. With Lego we have come to a pause to make a financial decision. We cannot afford to go
Lots of people ask about how to create a chain in Creo Parametric. PTC has been providing a User Defined Feature (UDF) to create a chain in the FTC KOP for some time, but apparently we never gave enough information on how to use it. The design was created by Mobius Innovation and Development and is available on their website with PDF instructions on how to use it. It includes a great video showing how to add it to both Metric and Inch models. Once created, the chain is a complex model, so don't worry about adding it too early in the design process or use a Simplified Representation to exclude it from your working model. http://www.mobiusid.com/free-downloads/
Hello AllRecently the IT department of our office has locked “Create Folder” option in window 7. This was done to avoid unwanted use of server storage. Our CAD dept. cannot create any folder is server unless requested to IT Team. But can access, modify and create new parts, assemblies and drawings. All in all every thing is as usual, only “create folder” option is locked. Now the problem is, If we work on Microsoft office or ACAD we can save the contents, But in case of Pro/enginner wildfire 2; Save, Save as and Backup options are grayed out. It will be very kind of you if you can help to rectify this problem. Looking forward to hear from you soon
Hi Folks, I created a conveyor belt animation. Followed an on-line tutorial, very good. mastering Creo by examples 39 ( moving belt) - YouTubeAnyway, once complete, my "baffle" on the belt is moving properly but the whole assembly is twirling around like a clock when the baffle hits the turn. Any ideas why this might be happening.I have set the conveyor structure and belt to - rigid-fix The rollers are pinned, they work fine. The Baffle is planar and slot points with edge of belt. The first time I did this tutorial everything worked fine. Now in class, we are having trouble with the twirling. If anyone has time to offer a few suggestions, thanks very much. This is Creo 3.0
Hi,I have a problem to change the location of the installation, usually the setup will install to c:\...\PTC.I want to install Creo to a seperate partition, if I change the location while installation process, the setup ignore and install to c:\...PTCI had an clue, that the licence file may the reason why, because this location can not be changed, so i tried to install Creo without the licence. No sucess. So, anyone with similliar problems, or an idea to solve this problem ?Glad for your help

HelloI recently downloaded PTC Creo Parametric for my Homework and eduction plan as an industrial engineer. In class we are used to deselect the "Default Template" and select "mmns_part_solid' as template. But there the problem occurs. I only have three templates to chose and neither of them is the good one. Is there a solution for it?Thanks for helpingDylan
