Creo 5 Installation -

Problems installing Creo 5 student edition:
I'm getting error 0x06000012 (shutting down because it could not run the Quality Agent).
Also, I was sent a PTC license pack and I'm getting a message "file does not have an app associated with in for performing this action..

Any ideas?

Hi @FZ_9215143,

 

Follow the steps mentioned below for error 0x06000012

 

•             Uninstall PTC Quality Agent from Control Panel > Programs and Features

•             Re-install the PTC Quality Agent using qualityagent_64.msi file from install > addon folder from the downloaded cd image.

 

What is the workflow you are performing for the message "file does not have an app associated with in for performing this action"
