I accidentally deleted parts of the CREO PTC software. I would like to repair / reinstall. How do I reinstall?

Hi

 

I accidentally deleted parts of the CREO PTC software. I would like to repair / reinstall. My license is still active. I can't find a download link. How do I reinstall?

    Hi,

    your license file is probably located in C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory. Make a copy of it to be sure that you do not lose it.

    Installation media in zip files are available on www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp page. Login to PTC is needed. I suggest to unzip file using 7-zip application.

    1.] Remove your current damaged Creo installation

    2.] Install Creo from the scratch

    Should I use the setup.exe or setup-schools.exe?

    Hi,

     

    use setup.exe and put path to your existing license file into source field. See red field in Re: Can't get license. - PTC Community discussion.
