Beginning of spring break for all the local schools. Mass exodus to the south for a lot of families wanting to enjoy time away. Do you have any near term travel plans? Safe travels and God speed.       The United States thought about switching over to the metric system, but it was going to cause mass confusion.

Hi PTC Community,   We had an amazing week with François Lamy (@flamy)  and Jeremy Trask (@JeremyTrask) at our PTC Bucharest office, exploring the impact of AI on our work and daily tasks. From demos to discussions, we learned how AI can save time, reduce errors, and enhance performance.   We also partnered with Politehnica University of Bucharest for our second symposium, "The Power of AI," sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of engineers. Second follow up appointment for my wife this afternoon. Praying that all goes well. Enjoy things starting SPRING around you. I noticed some "sap"cicles hanging from a tree branch yesterday evening. Spring is trying to get to Michigan (go to the local Home & Garden Show this weekend), but I think winter will hold on for just a little bit longer. Have a terrific weekend and hug the ones you love.     Everything in product development these days is about connectivity. One company just came out with a new silent smoke alarm.   When it detects smoke: it sends you a text, posts on X to your friends, sends a picture of the fire to Facebook, and streams live on YouTube.

Have a blessed weekend. Putting on a "Pizza & Game" night at our church Saturday night. It's going to be a busy weekend. Hug the ones you love.       Since it was recently February 2nd (2-2)   Several professionals are asked, “What is 2 + 2?”   The mathematician says, “An expression equivalent to 22.”   The engineer says, “It is approximately 3.9999998.”   The physicist says, “It is 3.99, plus or minus 3%.”   The statistician says, “That depends. What would you like it to be?”

Frequently I mention to hug the ones you love, to say "I Love You", spend time with them. It became more clear on Monday, January 13th, when I got a phone call from one of my wife's co-workers asking if I had been in contact with her because she didn't show up for work and they were not able to reach her on her cell phone. After a few scary moments, I was able to talk with my wife (the EMT's had found her phone) and she was heading to the hospital. With only a compression fracture in her back, we are both very grateful for the safety feature designed into today's vehicles after a pickup truck had crossed the centerline and hit her head on during a slippery commute (almost) to work. Give an extra hug to the ones you love the next time you see them, because in a moment....             Curious what you think about 1/3600 of an hour?   Just looking for a second opinion.

Hug the ones you love... Tell them that you love them...       I have decided this year I will only watch videos in 1080p or higher…   This is my New Year’s resolution!

I am using up more PTO and will not be in the office much over the next few weeks. Have a blessed Christ-mas. Enjoy time with your loved ones. Cherish the moments. See ya next year - at least at the PTCooler...     It is understood that Santa has declined this year the tradition of squeezing down a sooty chimney to deliver presents at Christmas. Reports are that he is worried about his carbon footprint...   This Christmas will be a good time for playing the sock market.   Last year Santa got sick. He came down with the flue when he came down my chimney.   A long time ago I was at Santa’s workshop telling lots of jokes. He got a little upset with me because the elves were not getting their work done so he had the elves lock me into a closet until I could come up with another joke that he had never heard. I couldn’t think of anything, so I said, “O pun the door”.   My wife, shortly before Christmas, told me she wanted something able to go from 0-10

We got a little dose of winter this week. Things are beautiful outside and cozy warm by the woodstove inside. Hope you got through your list of things for which you are thankful. Up/down stream?   Time for a LEAN Six Sigma analysis?   What was the SPC?
