Have a great weekend. Be blessed. Be a blessing to those that are around you. Do something out of the ordinary to make another person's day A handy man was hired to do some work around the house. He was given a detailed list of things to be completed. To my surprise when I checked on him later. Only jobs 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, had been completed. Turns out he only does odd jobs.
As my son mentioned last weekend we are entering the "burr" months: Septem-ber, Octo-ber, Novem-ber, Decem-ber. House project dominating the weekend again with a little tech job also. Have a blessed weekend... The formula to measure the area of a pun is length times wit.
I have the day off tomorrow for a 4 day weekend (with the Monday Labor Day Holiday in the States). Enjoy some time with the family and tackling some home projects - what about you? With all the discussion about AI lately, here is one of grave concern...
Schools are starting up. Sports are starting up. Chance to catch your breath this weekend. Be blessed. What do you call engineers without a degree? Project managers
Trying to wrap up summer projects for the school year kicks in for other members of the family. By the way, where did summer go.... My friend asked me, “How many seconds are there in 6 weeks?” Excited that I knew the answer, I told him 10!
Again, a shout out to the US Coast Guard and the 100th Annual Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven, MI. I will be out by the north pier most of the afternoon and catching the fireworks at night. Have a blessed weekend. Oh, by the way, how did it get to be August already.... If “UI” stands for “User Interface” & “AI” stands for “Artificial Intelligence”, what does “II” stand for? “Yes”
Have a terrific weekend. Enjoy the last Friday in July. This kicks off 100th Coast Guard Festival for Grand Haven, MI. It goes all week long. Parade of Ships is Monday @ 1:00 pm. Looking forward to hangout out with family next week Saturday and then watching the fireworks at night. Honey dew list this weekend. Be blessed. A mathematician had to move to a new place. His wife didn't trust him very much, so when they stood down on the street with all their things, she asked him to watch their ten trunks, while she got a taxi. Some minutes later she returned. Said the husband: "I thought you said there were ten trunks, but I've only counted to nine." The wife said: "No, they're TEN!" "But I have counted them: 0, 1, 2, ..."
Company heading home today. Time to get back in the groove of summer. Have a blessed weekend. Hug the ones you love. Time together is precious. Why won’t Goldilocks drink a glass of water with 8 pieces of ice in it? Because it’s too cubed.
Godspeed to you Corey, Hero to your family and Hero to your community. A full and moral life, taken too soon. You will be missed...😢 Best wishes to the former President and those others injured on a fast, and full recovery.
Several families get togethers this weekend - family in from Houston, from Kentucky and from South Carolina. 4 1/2 (5) quart pails of blueberries picked last night. Blueberries on my Rice Chex for breakfast this morning. I see my favorite no bake blueberry pie in my future! The “H” in ENGINEERING stands for Happiness!
For those in the US, stay safe and enjoy your Independence Day celebrations. Husband to Wife about the purchase of fireworks: It’s not just setting money on fire… … it explodes too!!!
Hope you have a great weekend. For some it's the beginning of the Independence Day Holiday week. If that is you, enjoy your time off. Be safe. The days are starting to get shorter in the north. On evening walks with my wife I enjoy the beautiful sky colors in the evening. Bright and brilliant fading into calm midnight blues. Chemist: Hey, CE look at this cool pop I get when I forget to cool this mixture .... Chemical Eng: OH NO!!!! RUN!!!!
Be blessed on this first full day of summer. Yesterday at 4:50 p.m. EDT the sun started it's long journey south again. Any big plans for the summer? Staying cool? (Heat wave in the northwest US) What do you get when you cross a mosquito with a mountain climber? Nothing! You can't cross a vector with a scalar.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy time with your father if you get the chance (Father's day this Sunday in the States). Be blessed. Maybe even share a dad joke or two... if they laugh, it may not be with you, but at you. 🙂 I was wondering why music was coming from my printer…. Apparently, it was jamming.
Have a blessed weekend.
Do you ever have mornings (or weeks) where your work takes a left turn 5 minutes into the day? Embrace the opportunities... Be blessed. You might be an engineer if: You window shop at Radio Shack. (You’re old engineer if you remember Raido Shack) You've already calculated how much you make per second. You've tried to repair a $5 radio.
Have a great weekend. Mixed weather here this weekend. Join us for Breakfast at the Beach on Memorial Day. 9:00 am by the channel, Holland State Park. https://www.michigandnr.com/parksandtrails/details.aspx?id=458&type=SPRK What are you plans this weekend. (Long weekend in the States.) You might be an engineer if: You look forward to Christmas, so you can put together the kids' toys. You think that people yawning around you are sleep deprived. You see a good design, and have to change it. You spent more on your calculator than you did on your wedding ring.
Sketchup has been OK to work with, but Qualcomm has some kind of license for Creo, so I'm asking IT to get me going here.
Half way through May. Where is 2024 going? Enjoy time with the ones you love this weekend. Did you do anything special for your mother last weekend? You might be an engineer if: You can quote lines from any Monty Python movie. You sit backwards on Disney rides so you can see how they do the special effects. You have saved every power cord from all your broken appliances. You know what http:// stands for.
I've got a bunch of splitting to do this weekend. What's on your to do list? (Or honeydew list?) You might be an engineer if: You take a cruise so you can go on a personal tour of the engine room. In college, you thought Spring Break was metal fatigue failure. The salespeople at the local computer store can't answer any of your questions. At an air show, you know how fast the skydivers are falling.
March brought something special to PTC Seaport Headquarters Boston. In honor of National Working Mom's Day, March 12th, this online community manager trekked into the city with my 15 year old son to be a spectator/helper for the BRUG (PTC/USER Boston Regional User Group) kick-off meeting. The event was spearheaded by the new PTC/USER Regional User Group leader, @MichaelBourque, a dedicated Creo advocate. Over fifty PTC software users gathered on the 17th floor, rejuvenating the Boston Regional User Group (BRUG). GROUP PHOTO!! The event kicked off with Michael Bourque sharing his journey with Creo, recounting his days at PTC where he contributed to developing early versions like Wildfire. Beyond his own story, Bourque engaged the audience, seeking input on future BRUG meeting topics, focusing on the impact of PTC products. Our discussion broadened with contributions from other PTC Community members like @ScottMorris , @sdurukkar @michaelbanus
What your plans for "Star Wars" days (May the 4th be with you)!!! Have a great weekend. Hug the ones you love. Be blessed. Why do computer programmers and engineers prefer their devices in dark mode? Because light attracts bugs.
Have a blessed day!!! Especially if you are @Jaime_Lee (who is having an extra special day today... if you know what I mean... another trip around the sun completed, eh?) Won free lawn service at our home and garden show this year.... mowing for the 3rd time already here in Michigan this afternoon. If it looks stupid, but works Then it ain't stupid (and you can say "trust me, I'm an engineer")
Looks like a nice but chilly weekend. Chance of frost Sunday morning. What can you do to brightened someone's day today. How do you tell the difference between a newbie and an expert? The newbie says, "What’s it doing?" The expert says, "It's doing it again!"
Have a terrific weekend. Get outside and enjoy sometime in creation. I’m struggling with math today. Fifteen plus fifteen is thirty, But Sixteen plus sixteen is thirty too.
