Disable Drag-and-Drop Restructure

Creo 2, Parametric, M120

 

The new ability to restructure an assy by drag and drop sounds great, but it's flaky and far too easy to accidentally  do when you simply want to re-order components instead of restructure.  Is there a config option to turn it off?

I wish! You might have to use the reorder function instead of dragging.

I had an assembly change when this happened accidentally on a completely unrelated part. Discovered it much later when all poop hit the fan.

No option right now.

 

I have just voted for this functionality to be added.

Since Creo 4.0 M040 the config.pro setting enable_dragdrop_on_components is available.
