export to pdf problems.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM140

I have two problems:
1. I am using a trimmed surface in my part model to show a identity (text). I do this by creating an offset surface and then trimming it with the text. In the part model it looks great. In the drawing view it looks okay and when I export as a pdf the edges of the surfaces are yellow making them difficult to see. I would prefer to show them in black or better yet to show the surface as filled black to the lettering is easy to see.
2. The second problem I am having is related to default "font" shifting when creating a pdf. When I select "stroke all fonts" the resulting characters are in the correct location but look terrible. They have no thickness. Is there a better way?
