Hi All, PTC integrity 10.9 will be migrated to Windchill 13. Please advise on how to move the workspace/source code from PTC integrity 10.9 to Windchill 13.

Hello, I am a junior developer and I develop triggers in java for Integrity and I would like to know how I can send parameters from a java trigger to another. Let me explain:I have 2 triggers, let's call them trigger A and trigger B.My 2 triggers are triggered according to rules.My trigger B is an automatic numbering trigger and is triggered during trigger A and I need to bypass part of the code of trigger B for functional reasons.To do this I would have liked to send a parameter from trigger A to trigger B to have the information in trigger B when A is triggered.I had thought of doing this in the A :ScriptServerBean serverBean = getScriptServerBean();Map<String, String> serverMap = serverBean.getTransactionContext();serverMap.put("parameter", ""); I have the parameter information in my trigger A but I can't get the information in my B trigger, maybe they don't belong to the same transaction ? If you have any clue of solution I'm interested, thanks.Alex

As per this thread, similar issue: I am getting same error while create requirement document using PTC integrity GUI windows. please look into it error is "Could not save item:MKS124312:Can not create item type of requirement document"

Hi, I have a few problems understanding ims api documentation. I want to ask you how to :1. Create a new/empty Test Case 2. Link created Test Case to a Test Suite3. We are on the System i (aka AS/400) using Implementer. We are transitioning from defining our physical and logical files using DDS to using SQL DDL to define SQL Tables and Views. I would like to get some thoughts and opinions from other users of Implementer that are using SQL DDL as to how they structure their SQL DDL script source members within Implementer and promote them through their various environments?Any input/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Introduction:-Item tagging is a custom developed solution which helps user to mark their own favorite items which could be an document, item or even individual content without any manual efforts. Hi im viewsegment -g --filterrule=((relationship["Summary"] forwards using ["Field1"] contains "TestVar") and ((field["ID"] = 12345) or (field["ID"] = 32432))) How to get the advanced filter work from im commands , the above command shows this error"MKS124814: Cannot show view information: MKS978530: This command accepts a selection of exactly one item id." Is it not possible to get the Advanced Filter which works from gui , in im commands ?

Hi, I have a normal sandbox, where I'm checking-out, modifying and then checking-in various files, and also I can add files or I can drop files. The question is:How could I bring in this normal sandbox, all the files that belong to a particular checkpoint I've made in the past ? After bringing the files from the checkpoint in my normal sandbox, of course I want to be able to continue my work, i.e modify,  check-in, add, drop files etc. Thank you! 

Sample scenario:- Project A contains member X at revision 1.1.- Project B contains member X shared from archive. At present it's at Rev 1.1.In Project A, I rename X to Y,  this creates Rev 1.2.In Project B, the history of X shows rev 1.2 and that it's the result of renaming but nothing has changed yet.Now in B, I perform "update member revision" on X. This results in 1.2 being the new revision, but the name doesn't change: Project A contains Y at Rev 1.2 and B contains X at Rev 1.2.But really, by updating member revision in B I wanted to accept the result of creating Rev 1.2 which was the new name Y.Now, if I want the new name in project B, I have to rename the member and I get Y at Rev 1.3 in B.Project A still shows Y at Rev 1.2, so I have to update member revision there.In the end, I have two revisions for one shared member just because I want to keep them in sync.Is there a better way to rename a shared member that avoids creating too many revisions?I've tried to see if using a

I am trying to create a mapping template that would extract from a Test Suite all its Test Cases and related Test Steps.   I have a template that I can run over the Test Suite to extract all the test cases and I have another template that can extract all Test Steps based on a query.   I would like to be to use the Excel integration to populate a spreadsheet with each test cases and its related test steps. Then be able to update them in Excel and upload them back into Integrity.   I can't seem to be able to combine the two templates so the Document ID is inputted in configuration template - Document Properties and the test cases are populated into a spreadsheet along with their related Test Steps.   I am currently using Integrity 9 SP7.   Thanks

Hi everybody! I am looking for an advice or your experience. How do you support the procedure of requirements deletion? I mean that I need to store a record of rationale for deletion of each requirement (Change Request ID or other information in text format) and when the spec is being exported to Word the list of deleted requirements in current revision should be generated.

Hi I know we can use im viewsegment to display a document view with some content of interestThis opens a new window with the filter Is there any im command where the user can simply update the existing view ( for eg, im gui will open the current view ). i.e just refresh or update the current view with a new filter ( using im commands ) ? Best regards

Hi all, I'm looking for a idea how to prevent my integrity server from being "blocked" by along running process during a scheduled trigger.Use case:I have a schedule IM trigger that runs every midnight. It shall checkpoint a certain number of LARGE SI projects, so our developers can at least "step back" on a daily basis.Currently I use the SI project bean to create the checkpoint, which generally works fine; but as long as the checkpoint process is running, no other IM trigger can be processed .So i wonder if there is a way to "fork" the checkpoint process from the trigger script. I do not need any response value, as I simply trust in Integrity to do it's job .I've tried to start a separate OS process and using the command shell API to to the job.Unfortunately this requires an installed Integrity Client on my Server machine. I appreciate any idea.
