Hello I have a purpose to create a trigger which will be invoked after checkbox usage on the document This trigger has to call the jar with parameters like (user who hit apply button on the document, id of that document)  Can you give me an idea of how this should be implemented 

Hello everybody, I'm trying to create a copy of a Document with different type and different content type. - importsegment is not a case, because we have mandatory fields and it produces an error. - importconetent throws this : com.mks.api.response.ItemModificationException: MKS124711: The item 2xxxx to be imported already has a parent. It there any other inbuild commands or options for this or it has to be done manually reading all of the information from existing content and creating new, based on this data? Thanks

I have a picklist that is not required on an item and I want to create a computed field to count the number of items where the picklist has no value yet.  I tried to use the "Unspecified" value, but the following error is returned:  MKS124543: The field Result is a picklist field. It may only be compared against a picklist value from that field. Unspecified is not a known picklist value.Thank you,Paul Hartwig

Hello All,   Need a help on computation part of relationships.   How to display the traced relationship count on report ?   Example: Lets say Requirement Document have 100 contents(Meaningful) out of that 80 were Decomposed From Input, 50 requirements Satisfied By Specification and 80 Requirements Validated By Testcase.   Integer Count % count   All Content Count # 100     Total Decomposed From # 80 80%   Total Satisfied By # 50 50%   Total Validated By # 80 80%     Thanks in advance   Chittaranjan

Hi All,   Need a help on computation definition, How to Display a "%" OR "count" of contents having no traces in the document in PTC Integrity Report via computation only. Hello All,   I am trying to create a query using the client which should give me a list of all contents (all children and grandchildren) of a certain segment/document as well as the children and grandchildren of included subdocuments.   Example: Main document (ID123456) is structured as follows 1 Heading 1.1 Description 1.2 Requirement 1.3 Subdocument 1 1.3.1 Heading (SubDoc1) 1.3.2 Requirement (SubDoc1) 2 Subdocument 2 2.1 Heading (SubDoc2) 2.1.1 Requirement (SubDoc2) 2.2 Heading 2.2.1 Heading 2.2.1.1 Subdocument 3 2.2.1.1.1 Requirement (SubDoc3) 2.2.1.1.2 Requirement (SubDoc3)   The query should now list all children/grandchildren (also the children/grandchildren of the included subdocuments) of document ID123456. Children and grandchildren of other documents that are not included in this document or nodes that have been deleted should not be listed.   Can anyone here help me? Hello, We are using Integrity Lifecycle Manager version 11.2.0.1413 Using the SoapUI tool, we can successfully call web service methods over https to our server. All,      I need to display a short text field of the first Item related on an Item (similar to an FVA but on a multiple to multiple relationship).  Is is possible to us a computed field to accomplish this?  I know that the short text is easily displayed, but I have not been able to find how to navigate the relationship to display it.     A trigger will not work in my case because once the item is released, it cannot be updated, preventing the trigger from updating the value.  I also do not want the history updated because the related item was updated.   Thank you,   Paul

How to display a Traced/Relationship items on the same Item ? Example Release Spawns Task and Task Spawned By Release,  here Task-456 is in relationship with Release-123. So Release-123 should be visible on Task Type with new field as a Related Spawned By Releases [Release-123].  How can we achieve this? Is there any trigger ?   We can see Similar to "Document ID" on Contents.   Thank you in advance.

Hello All,   I am facing an issue with document export via Gateway-> Export wizard. Please find the screenshot   Is .bmp file supports in gateway? Please suggest an appropriate way to export.  

Is it possible to transfer parameters from one project to another? And with parameters I mean the feature that replaces strings with values which are defined on project or document level.   Use Case: There are parameters defined in project Item A. I create a new project Item B I want to transfer the defined parameters from project A to project B.   I tried to export the parameters and the only way I can find is to mark the values in the GUI, and paste them to a text or excel file.   I could not find a way to import any parameters.   I know If I just copy paste the project item the parameters might be tranfered but that does not cover the case when I want to update parameters!  

Hi,   I am retrieving the Test Cases from Test Session(sessionId) using the code below.  It generates an exception when the "Tests as of Date" (sessionAsOfDate) is older than the creation date of the test session.  The exception generated is MKS124584: Request for item(s) <ID> prior to their creation Any idea how I could get this working for any value of "Tests As Of Date" ?   I have seen these articles https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS145501 https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS290554   I cannot use the solution proposed by CS145501 because I am not allowed by regulations to change the dates. Hi,   I'm trying to syncronize Integrity Modeler with LifeCycle Manager but I'm facing an issue in finding mksapi.dll. I'm working with Modeler 9.3 an LifeCycle Manager 12.2.1.2. I followed the instruction to add the ILMClient12/bin path to the environmental variables and I noticed the bin folder contains the mksapi64.dll and not mksapi.dll. When I launch the synchronize option the system notifies me that mksapi.dll is not found. How can I solve this issue?

Hello Community,One use case may be anyone can share his/her findings or any experience :-   Use Case:- Windchill RV&S Web GUI not working in Browser as it do opens but when we click on "Start Workflows and Documents Web Interface" it gives 401 error generally it should open a new tab with pop up window asking for username and password. Email Links are also not working because technically first they jump on browser and then launch Windchill RV&S.   Root Cause :- Browser Policies in our organizations are updated and what we got from policy team, "Integrity has basic authenticate/ authorization method by default and it needed to convert into Kerberos, Kerberos SSO, openIDConnect or SAML".   What i know so far don't know about SAML or openIDConnect, but Windchill RV&S do have Kerberos and Kerberos SSO mechanism. Note; This to be achieve without creating any new fields   I have got workaround with creating 2 new integer computation fields Examples, 1) 2 Computation fields     a) Test_Field_status [ SelectionCount("Assigned User")==0?0:1 ]      b) Test_Field_count [ "Test_Field_status"=1?1:0 ] 2) Create a Query for Report: Test_Count Query 3) Create a Report Report Type: ALM_Basic - HTML, Column, One Grouping, Field Compute with ALM 2009 CSS Report Query:  Test_Count Query Computation in Report: "Test_Field_status"==0   Let me know if there workaround without creating new fields and display the Null Assigned User Requirements count.

I know this has been probably asked before. Can I take an Excel spreadsheet with specification and import the specs into PTC and maintain some of the structure -> not just the document in its entirety. Thanks!

HelloI am working on a way to automate the import of documents into Integrity's Documents. I was proceeding based on Cli, but I encountered a WinError206 error and found that there was no way to insert a Text document in RichContentField. (The content I want to add is over 30000 characters.)   Is there a Cli method that can fill the Text Field in the form of a file containing content? Is it possible to use API? If possible, where can I download a package like com.mks.api?   Thank you in advance.

Hello Together, does anyone know how to connect ports from different diagrams? For example if you need a value from a block in a separate constraints diagram. How to connect the exact values from the BDD diagram in the ports of the constarint diagramm.   Thanks

When a document in Integrity is Locked or Unlocked, a corresponding entry in History is NOT made.   Requesting PTC to enhance the product to add info in History as to who locked/unlocked the document and when.
