How can we convert CGM file to Step file

Well, without trying it myself, I'd guess you could read the CGM file into Creo then save as STEP. Hopefully the type of data in the CGM file is amenable to outputting it as a STEP file.I don't have a CGM file so I can't do any testing.

According to the Help Center, CGM can be imported with Creo https://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_pma/r11.0/usascii/index.html#page/data_exchange/interface/To_Import_a_CGM_File.html

Former CAD data translation engineer here ☝️😁 and i get the feel too.

conversion can feel like throwing spaghettis on a wall and see what sticks indeed. 
In the end, if it fails file a case and we will assist promptly.
