When I added the model to the drawing> the set was show no hidden> changing to solid shows the generative design
Are you not able to see the geometry in a drawing view unless the view display is set to shaded? I assume that your model is a solid in part mode but the surfaces created by the generative process should be the same (I think) as Creo Freestyle surfaces (Sub D surfaces). Since freestyle surfaces can be used to create solid parts I would expect they could be shown on a drawing as any other solid part Created in Creo Parametric. I have seen designs where freestyle features have been used in the model and I assume they were documented with drawings.
What is your intended use for the drawing of a generative design model? I am curious, as I have wondered how the documentation of GD models within Creo would be handled in a production environment. I have used topology optimization on real designs but have always used the generated models as a guide to construct solid models using Creo Parametric features.
