PTC Creo 7.0 Student edition renewal

Hi!

I have some difficulties renewing my student licence for Creo 7.0.2.0. When I try renewing it, it says my account is not verified ("Client non vérifié"), as shown in joint screenshot.

I tried solving my problem following the diverse steps described in this post  :

• Renewing my password (I was careful not to use any special characters and only used a-b and 0-9).
• Removing the existing licence from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing and reinstalling the licence through the setup.exe from the installation folder. (In this case, it gives me an error but no information on it)
• Uninstalling everything from PTC and reinstalling it.
• Using the reconfigure.exe file from C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 7.0.2.0\Parametric\bin.

Is it a known problem? Is there an easy solve to it?

Hi,

you can try following if you use one of following Creo 7.0 product codes.

K-12 students can use Product code BE700908EDSTUDENTEDK12
University students can use Product code BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI

• download Creo 9.0
• download and read https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo9_schools_standard.pdf  and https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo9_unistudent_standard.pdf
• install Creo 9.0 ... if successfull then installation creates license file in C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory
• install Creo 7.0 ... do not enter product code, instead of it enter the path to Creo 9.0 license file in Source field
