I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.2.0

Hi, our company recently installed Creo 12.4. It is now in the standar configuration (inch, pound, standard ambient, exc... ). We want to transfer the personalized configuration from the version used till today (Creo 9) to the new installed version. How can we achieve this?

PS. We have also a Creo Simulation pack.

    Hi,

my suggestion... ask the person who created the standard configuration in Creo 9.0.

There are a couple of files that relate to this that you will need to copy from your Creo 9 structure to your Creo 12 structure.

The first files to copy over are the config.sup and the config.pro files from the common files/text folder. These may be in another folder if you use some environment variables for the alternate location.

The second set of files to copy is your start model templates, unless these are on a shared network drive that the config.pro has their location defined.
