I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM110

Hiding cosmetic lines in the general view also hides cosmetic lines in child detail views
Please tell me how to hide the cosmetic lines in the general view and display them in the detailed view.

In the part model place the cosmetic items on a layer.

In the drawing top level layer definition, show the layer with the cosmetic items. This would result in the cosmetic items being visible in all views.

Set up a view specific layer definition for the general view to hide the layer of cosmetic items.

Define the layers for the general view in the drawing and hide the layer containing the cosmetic items.
