Access the custom object error logs via V1 or V2 API

Quite a general question, is there anywhere the Custom Object error log is exposed in the API's?

 

My use case is to pull the Expression Rule error messages out to resolve log issues,

    None that I know of. There's no access to the files other than downloading them zipped up via the UI.
