Are there plans for allowing Configuration Tables on ThingShapes?

I have several workarounds, but it'd be really great if I could get a configuration table on a ThingShape just like you can on a ThingTemplate. Is this something that is in the plans ever?

    I don't use at all configuration tables

    By the way, you can easily replicate Configuration Table for ThingShapes features with DataTables...

    Right... or InfoTable properties. But a config table would be better for my use case as it's just sort of a separate thing. Lots of options surely...
