integrate costume event in a mashup

Hi, i have service that triggers an event within its code ​that i wrote , how can i use this event to trigger  a widget service in a mashup?

more specifically i want to trigger a navigator "navigation" service if a specific condition within my code is fulfilled .how can i achieve that?
