Possible to implement own user management?

Hello colleagues,

I know that I can send my sensor data to Thingsworx platform, but except raw data my project includes user management. This means there are groups of users which should be able to see data from one or another sensor source. There would be also a kind of admin role who can create and assign users to machines.

Is something like that possible to achieve using standard components or one need some database extensions for that?
