thingworx installation - download failure license.bin

Hi Rashmita, this could be a temporary issue. For how long have you been trying to download the file? If it has been a while you might want to reach out to your sales or open a license support case.

What happens when you click on the Download button on the License Management page? Ideally the license ( which is a .bin file) should get downloaded .

If you were able to download the file but faced issues while launching the Thingworx application , ensure that you have followed the below steps.

• Download the license from the PTC Support site
• Rename the .bin file to license.bin
• Create ThingworxPlatform folder at the root of the drive where Tomcat was installed
• Make sure the ThingworxPlatform folder has Read Write access
• Place the license.bin in the ThingworxPlatform folder
• Restart Tomcat and try launching the Composer again.
