Updates to the Community Points System Planned for May 1

The points assigned to scenarios that exist in the community that reward users for participation will be updated on May 1, 2017.  The update is aimed at providing an enhanced balance for the different levels of activity inside the community.


The following table provides the details of the changes:

The changes will not impact existing points.  They will only impact the points earned for activities that users engage in once the changes are live on May 1.

Hi Steve, just curious is this already in place from 1st May? Somehow points on replying to a discussion still reflects the old value of 1 instead of 2.

We did have a slight delay, but the changes have been made now

Do users need to logout for the system to take effect on them? I see the new system reflected in the legend, however, I still see the old point system taking place when adding new points.

It's not mandatory, but if problems exist yes we should attempt log out / log in and possible clearing of browser cache if the simple log out / log in solution does not correct it

I suspect it also might be applicable only to the new threads/posted after the change.
