Anybody have a public link to a CREO PARAMETRIC cool looking part or assembly they are willing to share?

Looking to pull it into a first gen HoloLens.

something with an exploded state embedded would be great.

thanks in advance

Hello @wrsamuels , I was able to locate an Vuforia Experience which is on a public server. I believe that will be available for 90 days.

Here is a QR code for a Mobile device, in the View application scan the QR Code.

There is a control at the bottom of the screen which expands the egg.
I also have a Code for the HoloLens I have tested with a HoloLens2. The control for the expand is not present.

When you are using VUforia Studio, when a project is created you are required to select the type of device which will display the results.   Let me know if these work for you and if you have any questions.

Could this thread be useful? "Sites to download Creo Parts and Assemblies": https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/Sites-to-download-Creo-Parts-and-Assemblies/td-p/100310

Not quite, looking to open the files in a HoloLens and that requires they be published from Creo to be formatted to open as a hologram.

Not looking to create the hologram (i believe its called an experience once ready for opening in the HoloLens) just to open one.

i believe once a hologram is created it has two options for access to it, a private or public link.

a public link allows anyone that has the path can open and view the file on a device like either a tablet phone or head set (HoloLens).

Appreciate the reply though, and will share that info on part access.

Hello @wrsamuels , From your question , you seem to want to create a Vuforia Experience which will allow you to view  a Model in 3D.
Working with Vuforia Studio, Vuforia Experience Service and ThingWorx you can create some of what you describe.

At a very high level. You create a Vuforia Studio project.
When you create this project you need to select the type of project. Mobile device or 3D Eyewear Device.
The 3D Eyewear device would be a HoloLens. In the simple case you load a model which is created from Creo Illustrate as a PVZ file.
When the project is published to the Vuforia Experience Service, it becomes available to the HoloLens to load and view.

Having created a simple project, it is possible to make a more complex version.
ThingWorx can be used to store multiple PVZ files. Using calls in the Vuforia Studio project  the model can be loaded from ThingWorx and set as the active model.

I hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if I can clarify any issues.
