because you mentioned in your question unity version   therefore I think your question is   related   to Vuforia Engine & Unity   and is not directly related to the to the  Vuforia Studio product and Vuforia Studio community  .  Therefore I want to refer to  to the Vuforia Development portal/ support -  https://developer.vuforia.com/support where you could find Information and Tutorial to the  Vuforia Engine /also usage in  unity enviroment /  

You have also the option to address your questions and discuss issues with other Vuforia Engine and Unity developers via the official vuforia tag on Stack Overflow  https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/vuforia

So using a modelTarget in Studio there was already a reference provided by @VladimirN  answer

To handling a ModelTarget in unity there is the start reference in the Vuforia developer portal

and especially for unity usage of ModelTargets:
