10.1 M010 WWGM running on java 1.7.X?

technically speaking, I think that for 10.1 M010 PTC only supports Java 1.6.X....is anyone using WWGM clients with Java 1.7.X?

....occasionally users have problems and I'd like to understand the likelyhood that running on 1.7.X would lead to GUI problems, etc.
