BOM for WT parts related to CAD models

We want to display a BOM and ballooons on the drawing for only items that are saleable, the saleables have a different doc number and then we relate them to the associated model, trouble is we can't find a way to mirror the CAD model parameter for REV to the WT part and update as they don't have model parameters, has anyone needed this this type of scenario
