bulk load EPMDocuments

Experts,

I have a load of .asm and associated .prts, .dwgs etc on my local harddisk.

Is there a way to bulkload these (and thereby create EPMDocs with contents) and associate pre-created WTParts to them.

You can import all them to Workspace.

Go to your active workspace in Pro/E embedded browser.

Go to Tools=> Import.

In this Import UI you can browse the local hardisc CAD content and say import.

Later you need to check in these imported CAD parts.

We have the same problem while trying to import documents by the WGM. We have an issue caused to the constraint on some attribute needed.

There is a way to avoid the check on these atributes while the import is running?

There is no way ootb to disable the checking for attributes. What is the error you're getting?

Ravin, you can use the procedure Amit provided and then also select to auto associate parts upon check in on the check in options screen.
