Changing Locations of Vaults in PDMLink 9.1 M060

We currently run a single server install of PDMLink 9.1, and all of our vaults are stored on the 'F:\' drive of this server. Our system admins have asked if could split the vault drive into 2 or more drives for easier replication to our offsite recovery center. We currently have 12 vaults, so could I move half to a new drive(or possibly a new server)? If it is simply going through the Vault Configuration UI to change the location, does this change the location tied to the object or would I have to do some sort of revaulting?
