Designate the paramaters in the checked-in data

While Check-in of Pro/E CAD data in WIndchill 10, Attribute designation was not done (Pro/E> tools > Paramaters > Designation checkbox).


Is there any mechanism (database level) that will designate the paramaters in the checked-in data and make them available in Windchill ?


Or Is checkout - Designate - checkin the only option ?
