Disable autonumbering for WTPart

Friends,

The title says it all.....

I have modified the OIR to remove the autogenerate tag for WTPart OIR --> It did not work, since the create part screen still shows Partnumber <generated>

then I recreated the jars, and restarted the methodserver, but still the same result.

Am I missing something?

My requirement is pretty simple- Manual numbering for WTParts.
