Disk Space issues

What do you do, or what would you do, when a replica FileServer ran out of available disk space, and adding more disk isn't an easy solution?

I have a 100GB replica file server that is 98% full. Adding more disk is a complicated process (server is overseas), and I really feel like 100GB should be enough.

I could reset the replication and start again from scratch (replicating dozens of GB over a weekend....hopefully!), but there has to be a better way to rid the replica file server of documents that DO NOT NEED TO BE THERE.

Any ideas?

Sounds like this should be added to the ideas section as an enhancement request.

Joe,

Yes. I was thinking the same thing. I have posted this idea some time ago.

Since then, I have learned that Windchill 10 has integrated tools that help manage wasted disk space. So, as I am currently on Windchill 9.1 M60, I will just have to look forward to that upgrade.
