Force uppercase on Name

I have read the thread that this can be done using a listener. I have not been able to take the customization classes, so I was wondering if anyone can point me to a source that would help me create this listener [I have some knowledge of java].

The system already does this by default.

Any characters added to number field are converted to uppercase, but not those added to name, these remain lowercase. (in our 9.1M062 system at least)


I too would be interested to know how we can force uppercase on name. If it was a soft attribute then we could put a constraint on there in type manager but not so for easy for modelled attributes.
