How to force user to change password

Hello,

In my PDMLink system, we don't have for the moment an automatic mapping with corporate LDAP server.

So each user is created "manually", and password set with a default value.

The problem is that, the user don't change this initial password.

So, in PDMLink 9.1, do you know if there is a facility in the system to force the users to change the password?

    Windchill does not place any restrictions on passwords. Please refer 'Setting Wiindchiill Diirrecttorry Server

    Though the option to manage the password change and restriction can be enabled in windchill by setting the following in wt.properties.

    wt.org.services.userpasswordChangeEnabled

    wt.org.userPasswordRestrictCharset

    Ofcourse, there is exception with special character usage after change and so the SPR is filed to address it. Not sure if patch is available for that.
