IE 8 Windchill standard mode

Hi,

when I open IE and I log on the Windchill server I get this Warning

does anyone know how to prevent this warning?

Press F12 when IE is open, From the Menu "Browser Mode : IE8 Compact View">Select Internet Explorer 8

Above solution will not prompt said warning for that IE session only.

Not sure how to get rid of this completely.

You need to press the alt key so you get the menu back. Than Compatibility View Settings --> and remove the tick from showing the intranet sites in compatibility view.

I'd be curious to know how other companies handle this when Windchill 10 is only one site in the corporate environment. The options mentioned in the thread so far mention one way that is only good for that session or assuming that no other sites rely on the Intranet Zone using compatibility mode. The PTC knowledgebase only offers these two options but there are more complicated scenarios in many companies.
