We are experiencing an issue with a single Windows 7 client causing a SYN Flood attack on our Windchill server. The client opens up 2000+ connections. Untimately causing the Windchill server to lock up at the network interface.

Server: Solaris M5400 / Windchill 9.1 M060 / SSL

Solutions and suggestions would be appreciated.

That isn't the direction I want to take. The users have legitimate work to perform. The issue only arises when they checkout large -- 8000+ -- models.

Are they bringing 8000+ models to a workspace or are they checking out
8000+ models? Not sure if it makes a difference to the system. I have
found that anything larger than 1000 brings workspace performance to a
crawl. Is this the whole aircraft model?
