Hello best knowledge base,

Did anybody know if Intralink 3.4 M62 is running on Windows Server 2008?

We plan to update and IT asked if we can use this instead of Windows Server 2003.

Kind regards

Good afternoon Uwe,

There are no 3.4 builds that are supported on Server 2008. It does not mean it won't work, however I would not trust a production database on an unsupported OS.

Uwe,

Did you have any success installing Pro/I 3.4 m062 on Windows Server 2008? Are you currently running this arrangement in produciton? Please post your findings.

Thanks,

CB

Hi Chris

I would welcome some feedback on this, we are experiencing problems with two Intralink fileservers which are installed on Windows 2008 server, the Fileserver just stops server files, we have to stop and restart the Intralink fileserver service approximately twice weekly. It is a pain, I do know that the software is not certified for Windows 2008 but this was already installed before I arrived.

Is any one else having this problem if so have they resolved it or reverted back to w2k3.

Regards
Steve

Guys,

I am fairly sure 3.4 will not work on Win Server 2008.

Hi all,

I've been tasked with convincing our company's management why we shouldn't use Agile EC over Windchill (currently on 3.x). We have some demo's set up, but I was curious as to whether or not anyone out there has any experience with Agile EC. Good, bad, ugly?

Thanks,
Stefan
